Dakota is a soft-spoken youth who is looking for an adoptive family.  Dakota is currently living in a group home with a lot of restrictions placed on his activities.  He is proud to talk about the growth he’s experienced over the last couple of years and how he has learned to keep himself calm and out of trouble.  Dakota has been in foster care for a long time and has had a myriad of placements.
Dakota says he’s a good kid and he loves helping others.  Family is important to him since he hasn’t had one in a long time.  He believes that having a family would make him want to do better.  He doesn’t want to age-out of foster care.  He wants to be loved and a part of a true family.
Dakota’s favorite subject is Reading and least favorite is Math.   He says he would like to be in the medical field, possibly a Physical Therapist when he grows up.  His favorite animal is dogs and his most cherished memory is getting kicked in the face by a horse. He loves basketball and football and would love to meet Michael Jordan.
Won’t you open your heart and be the answer to Dakota’s prayers?
